Safety is our core value. We are committed to our safety excellence journey to achieve zero harm to anyone associated with us. We continue to improve our processes through digitalization, demonstrate leadership in building HSE skills, and ensure compliance to Corporate HSE policies and our HSE management system framework.

We ensure continual improvement in our HSE performance through the implementation of the Strategic objectives.

HSE Management System

Our HSE Management System (HSEMS) outlines the structured approach necessary for all our operations to manage HSE risks and drive HSE improvement in a consistent and systematic manner. Each element defines the requirements of all employees and stakeholders to achieve the outcome in a clear and comprehensive manner. Our HSE Management System is modeled after ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. This approach helps us realize the HSE aspects of our vision, mission, and values.

Golden Safety Rules

We have in place 10 mandatory Golden Safety Rules, which are followed by all the employees and contractors. These rules are formulated based on the mapping of high-risk activities. The rules set out simple and clear “Do’s” and “Don’ts” covering activities with high risk and are deemed to be safety-critical and with zero tolerance for any deviation. Strict compliance with these rules is ensured through the management system, not just for the employees but also for the contract workforce.

Safety Innovation School

Our Safety Innovation School provides Occupational Health and Safety training to our employees and contractors. SIS training programmes focus on experiential learning, i.e., learning by doing & experiencing.

HSE Performance

We strive for continual improvement and benchmark our performance against the international industry standards. We are committed towards our goal of zero incidents in future.

Awards

We have received many prestigious awards from elite institutions. Numerous awards and accolades from national and international agencies affirm our excellence in HSE.

Some of the Awards are :

  • Received the Energy and Environment Foundation Global Environment Award in 2020 and the prestigious winner award for “Best Practices in Occupational Health and Safety 2021” from CII (Confederation of Indian Industries)
  • Manufacturing Fabrication Yard, Sohar received the Middle East Energy Award under the category of “HSE Innovation of the Year” in 2019
  • Manufacturing Fabrication Facility, Hazira received the Frost & Sullivan's Safety Excellence Award in 2020
  • Manufacturing Fabrication Facility, Kattupalli received the RoSPA Health & Safety Gold Award in 2019
  • Construction Business Vertical received the 4 Star Rating under Infrastructure Construction Category in the CII-SR EHS Excellence Awards in 2020
  • Offshore Business Vertical received the ICC Environment Excellence Award in 2019.
  • TL05 project at Kuwait received the KOC CEO HSSE Award in 2019 and American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) - GCC Excellence Awards in 2021

Some of the Client Appreciations are:

  • FNDPC Project, Yanbu, KSA received the appreciation from Farabi Petrochemicals for the achievement of 31 million Safe Man- hours in 2020
  • OCL BFCCU Project received the Best HSE Performance Appreciation Certificate from IOCL in 2020
  • Thai Oil Project- MFF Hazira received the certificate of appreciation for achieving 10 million Safe Manhours at in 2021
  • NSGEP Project received the certificate of appreciation by KOC for achieving 10 million safe man-hours without LTI in 2021
