The award recognises LTHE’s commendable performance in a year filled with uncertainty and challenges.

At a high-profile gathering of business leaders from India’s oil & gas sector, senior bureaucrats and government officials in New Delhi recently the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) named L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering ‘EPC Company of the Year’ for 2020.

The pair of Mr. S.N. Subrahmanyan, CEO & MD, L&T, and Mr. Subramanian Sarma, CEO & MD, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering accepted the coveted trophy and the citation from Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, GoI.

The award recognised LTHE’s commendable performance in a year filled with uncertainty and challenges. In 2020, the company successfully delivered multiple large value projects for customers in India and elsewhere including an INDMAX FCC Unit for IOCL at Bongaigaon (Assam) and a couple of Offshore projects for ONGC. Besides, the company also secured a handful of large value domestic orders in the petrochemicals and offshore space during the year.

The maiden recognition from the highly reputed industry association is a source of enormous pride and satisfaction for all of us at LTHE.

FIPI is an apex society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector and acts as an industry interface with Government and regulatory authorities. The FIPI awards recognise activities carried out by EPC firms and assess their contribution in terms of overall business performance, project management, quality, and health & safety among other things.
