Established in 2010, the Modular Fabrication Facility, Kattupalli is located on India’s east coast, near Chennai. It opens up access to the oil & gas fields of South East Asia and to new geographies - the Krishna and Godavari basins. The yard is part of L&T’s sprawling 1200 acre marine complex which lies in a Special Economic Zone and includes a shipbuilding and ship-repair yard, as well as a port and freight container station.

The spectrum of capabilities include Modular solutions in the Oil & Gas sector for Offshore Shallow water modules - Jackets & Topsides, Deepwater modules – PLET, PLEM, ILT, Jumpers, FPSO units, Subsea pipelines (Reeling Spool base), Onshore PAR / PAU / PAM modules, Heaters, Reformers, Skids, Equipment, Piping Spools, Structures and also Foundations & other modules for Offshore Wind Farms. Our yards are the only yards  in India qualified by BHGE for fabrication of subsea manifolds. It is an all weather load-out and sail-away facility with minimal tidal variations.

MFF-Kattupalli offers round the year delivery capability with robust QHSE performance. It is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and machinery for operational and logistic flexibility to deliver complex modules duly tested / pre-commissioned prior to delivery.

It is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 and has a Certificate of Authority to use API monogram for products manufactured as per specifications API 2B. It is also authorised to use ASME U, U2, S and NBBI R, NB stamps. It is also in the process of implementation of ISO 50001, EN-1090-1&2 and CE marking.
