From modularization design to completion of assembly, it only took the team a mere 32 days to achieve readiness of load-out of the first cracking furnace.

In July 2018, when HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) contracted us for supplying seven cracker furnaces at its Bathinda refinery in Punjab, little did anyone anticipate how our work on the project would end up serving as a case study for modularising cracker furnace construction.

Working against an extremely tight schedule of 24 months for the mechanical completion of the project, our team delivered the cracker furnaces in record time by fabricating, assembling, transporting and installing the equipment onsite in just 10 months.

From modularization design to completion of assembly, it only took the team a mere 32 days to achieve readiness of load-out of the first cracking furnace. Modularizing the cracker furnace construction not only saved the project team precious manufacturing time (33% lesser man-days overall) but also resulted in a remarkable 75% fewer lifts for installing the fully assembled furnace structures at site.

Thanks to the HMEL experience, we have become adept at fabricating large-scale modules for industrial plants and developed unique capabilities in process system in-yard commissioning. We are now all set to execute similar type of Cracker Furnace, Heaters & Reformers for future Refinery & Petrochemical projects using modularisation methodology for domestic and international projects.
